Most Americans hadn't heard the term "bunkie" until 2024 when a couple of videos from Bunkie Life Heartland reintroduced the old idea of the versatile "bunk house" under the new Canadian term "bunkie." It's gotten SO expensive to build anything, but we still have needs and ideas.

Some people want to buy a piece of property in a remote location and get away from the rat race. They want to do it affordably. From the basic but inviting tiny house kit to the outhouse kit (bathroom bunkie), we have them covered.

Other folks want to work from home, but not IN the home. Our affordable bunkie cabins make wonderful home offices, built quickly, but still a beautiful inviting space so nice that you won't need that fake zoom background.

Our family has reclaimed countless hours together buy supplementing much of our income with short term rental bunkies. Everyone who has tried this says the same thing. "These little cabins print money."

But it isn't just about printing money. It's about being together for more than television. It's about building something together. It's about learning the value of work and building family businesses. It's about my kids earning money for camp by cleaning between airbnb guests. It's about being together.
