People with a good idea of current material prices are universally impressed with the affordability of our kits. Then the dreaded question... "What about shipping?" Here's the good news. If you have a little flexibility, it won't be that bad.
I have seen shipping rates between $500 and $3,000 for a single unit, with the most expensive being in remote sections of the Southwest. When we can string an efficient route together, we can often utilize FTL (full truck load) shipping, which greatly reduces the per unit cost. A full truckload to the Midwest is usually less than $3,500 and can hold up to 12 mid-sized models like the Haven Ultra, plus 12 Bathroom Bunkies. There is an additional charge for each stop, but you can see how things get below the $1,000 in this scenario.
Beyond that, there are other options. The 18 wheeler can come right to you if you have the ability to fork lift your packages, or cut them open and hand off-load each piece. But we can also have your delivery finished by a local boom truck or tilt-bed wrecker if you'd like to keep it sealed up while placing it as close as possible to your build site.
If you want to keep shipping costs low, there are two ways to go about it. Give us a larger window for delivery, or just buy more bunkies! I mean, if you get 12 Haven's and 12 Bathroom Bunkies, and spend $4,000 on shipping, it's only $167 per unit! So call your friends and tell them about bunkies. Buy together and get to building!
P.S.
A full truck to Alaska runs north of $6,000. So definitely get a few kits at the same time for your hunting retreat business, or get a few friends involved. Same for you, Hawaii!
