Our outhouse beside our glamp cabin

Outhouse: Your off-grid and glamping bathroom solution

People poop in their houses!?!? Yes, your ancestors would be horrified at the thought. And if you are setting up an off grid cabin or glamping site, you may want to return to their logic and build an outhouse, instead of pooping where you eat and sleep.

While composting toilets, when maintained, can be generally odor free, you might find that a fly infestation or broken exhaust fan makes you glad you went with a detached bathroom, out of the house... an outhouse.

Our Bathroom Bunkie kits ($2,675USD) are a quick, long-lasting solution. Now, while you may be handy, and able to save a little coin by throwing one up from scratch. But if should you decide that time is money, and that every day you don't get your sweet glamp cabin, wall tent, or yurt on the short-term rental market is costing you another $200 in lost revenue, our kit's are a great way to save time.

You can literally build one in like 4 hours. Now that doesn't include the foundation or the metal on the roof, but it does get you from the subfloor to the ceiling including the door. We drug out our assembly by letting the kids build the first few feet.

If you want to go with a more premium experience and ensure that your guests in no way actually have to rough it while "roughing it," consider the Getaway Cabin ($5,905). While big enough to be little hotel room all it's own, it's a great choice to level up your outhouse.

Stay tuned for more, like... off-grid toilet options!
